According to sources close to Apple, the soon-to-be-released MacBooks will feature OLED technology for richer colors and higher true pixel-by-pixel contrast.

This is great news for every Apple user and design pro using MacBooks for video and photo editing.

Max brightness will be slightly lower compared to the current liquid-retina Macbook displays (Mini-Led), but color accuracy and a full spectrum of DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB Gamut with the added benefit of true blacks will be a blessing for many current Macbook customers.
