Progressive Web Apps, PWAs, https://web.dev/what-are-pwas/ is a great new tech to give app functionality, with great cross platform support when modern browsers support these technologies. Why is Apple not implementing these open standards in Safari? Is it because they lack universal support? Most likely not. There are many not so established things Apple is quick to implement, if it increases their own control over the eco-system.

We think there may be purely business incentives, and Apples stance on asserting eco-system control to stave off competition that may be the biggest reason for Apple to discourage and lack implementation of PWAs browser based technologies. The official response may likely be the common holy mantra when taking anti-competetive measures.”It’s for the security and user experience of our device-buyers”…

  1. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement.
