Apple has denied popular mail application BlueMail Appstore publication based on the motivation that it uses AI that could generate “inappropriate content for children”.. Of course, all a bunch of baloney… But this is how power corrupts… Nothing will of course “stop” any users of these email applications to fire up chatGPT etc in a browser and generate the same content and cut & paste it to their previous email app…
The monopolization of app approval on iDevices is long overdue to get removed… It may have been fine 20 years ago when it was wild-west, but abusing its power 2023 to mess with competitors is begging for EU and US legislation.
